Ma bucur ca s-a deschis acest post. Am reascultat cu mare placere CD-uri mai vechi, pe care nu le-am mai ascultat de ceva vreme si am rememorat in paralel amintiri din acele vremuri.....ehehee. Si evident va doresc auditie placuta la o alta trupa prafuita!

A fost de ajuns un impuls.
La fel s-a intamplat si cu tenisul de masa. La Pastele trecut, bunul meu prieten "darksideofthemoon" mi-a aplicat o corectie, si am pus mana din nou pe paleta, tot dupa un interval de 20 de ani, sa nu mai patesc rusinea...
Numai ca s-a scurs un an si nu stiu daca am reusit sa micsorez decalajul.
Vedem noi acuma, de Paste, daca se cunoaste cat de cat munca dintr-un an. And that`s a promise!

Imi pare, sincer, rau ca nu a functionat upload-ul, pe YouTube, al peliculei The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus(pentru cei interesati, link-ul valabil este:

In compensatie, va invit la un alt film, lansat pe 20 octombrie 1976 si cuprinzand imagini din concertele sustinute de Led Zeppelin la Madison Square Garden din New York, in 27, 28 si 29 iulie 1973(ii veti putea vedea pe Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Baldwin(alias John Paul Jones) si regretatul John "Bonzo" Bonham, impreuna cu familiile lor, ca si pe managerul Peter Grant si pe alti membri ai staff-ului grupului). Piesele din concert sunt, in ordine:

Parca as fi scriu eu randurile astea. Din decembrie anul trecut am ascultat mai multa muzica decat in ultimii vreo 25 ani, motiv pentru care va multumesc voua, celor care ati initiat acest subiect (topic) precum si celor care l-ati intretinut prin postarea de piese, care de care mai faine si mai interesante. Simt o mare bucurie (re)ascultand, in primul rand, muzica anilor tineretii, de care ma leaga multa amintiri placute si pentru care am facut de multe ori sacrificii nebunesti.
Cat despre tenis, tin sa multumesc fratelui meu care, cu greu m-a miscat din "letargia" cotidianului, povestindu-mi despre Amatur, despre turnee, echipamente, "iarba", prieteni, ...si a reusit sa ma convinga sa particip la un prim turneu, la Mediaș, acum 2 ani, dupa mai mult de 30 de ani de "tacere". Din pacate ma antrenez doar la concursuri, si alea sporadice, timpul nepermitandu-mi sa ma "indestulez" in pasiunea redescoperita, motiv pentru care, deocamdata, rezultatele sunt modeste. Sper insa sa -mi gasesc timpul necesar si partenerul cu care sa evoluez cat mai corect si mai rapid, caci sala am inaugurat-o in iarna asta.
Sa auzim numai de bine si... multi ani sanatosi, cu satisfactii si impliniri, tuturor amaturistilor care-si serbeaza ziua de nume.

Cu exact o luna inaintea concertului celor de la The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park din Londra, nou-infiintatul "super-super-group" Blind Faith, compus din:
Eric Clapton-chitara solo/armonie, voce(venit de la Cream);
Steve Winwood-clape, bass, voce(plecat de la Traffic);
Ginger Backer-tobe(venit, cu Clapton , de la Cream) si
Rick Grech-bass, vioara, voce(provenit din Family)
a concertat, pe 7 iunie 1969, in fata a 100.000 de spectatori, printre care, in spatele scenei, s-au aflat Mick Jagger si Marianne Faithfull, Donovan si Mick
Fleetwood(de la Fleetwood Mac), Jim Capaldi si Chris Wood(ambii de la Traffic).
Repertoriul din concert:
"Well All Right";
"Sea Of Joy";
"Sleeping In The Ground";
"Under My Thumb"(preluare The Rolling Stones);
"Can't Find My Way Home";
"Do What You Like";
"Presence Of The Lord";
"Means To An End"(preluare Traffic);

Dupa o serie de concerte sustinute in Scandinavia si Statele Unite(12 iulie-24 august) si realizarea unui album "Blind Faith"(singurul, de fapt), in octombrie 1969

Ar mai fi o trupa Marcele, BEGA BLUES BAND, una dintre primele trupe de blues si jazz din Romania, infiintata in anul 1982 de catre regretatul Bela Kamocsa "Kamo" (1944-2010), membru fondator al formatiei Phoenix, in care a activat de la infiintare 1962 pina in 1971.
Totodata Kamo este fondatorul Galei blues-jazz Internațional din Timișoara (1990) și cofondator a Festivalului de jazz de la Gar?na.

In numarul de marti 23 aprilie al revistei Rolling Stone apare un clasament, intocmit de cititori, cu primele 10 nume de trupe si muzicieni care ar putea patrunde , in 2014,in Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Pe prima pozitie se afla Deep Purple(mai apar, printre nominalizati, Yes si Chicago).
Vorbind despre Deep Purple, ar fi oportun de amintit ca, in decursul anilor, unii dintre membrii de baza au infiintat alte grupuri care s-au dovedit a avea succese masurabile cu cel al trupei-mama. Astfel, in1975, solistul vocal Ian Gillan pune bazele formatiei Ian Gillan Band iar chitaristul solo, Ritchie Blackmore, creeaza propriul grup, Rainbow. In 1978 inlocuitorul lui Ian Gillan, vocalistul David Coverdale paraseste, si el, Deep Purple infiintand Whitesnake.
Daca pana acum au fost postate succese atat ale celor de la Deep Purple cat si ale celor de la Whitesnake as vrea sa va supun atentiei doua realizari Rainbow, si anume "Long Live Rock And Roll" de pe albumul omonim din 1978(in trupa, pe langa R. Blackmore, gasindu-i pe vocalistul Ronnie James Dio, tobarul Cozy Powell, basistul Bob Daisley si claparul David Stone) si Since You Been Gone(un cover dupa Russ Ballard de la Argent, de pe albumul Winning)(piesa aflata pe LP-ul Down To Earth din 1979, inregistrat in componenta R.Blackmore-chitara solo, Graham Bonnet-voce, Don Airy-clape, Cozy Powell-tobe si, un alt Deep Purple, Roger Glover-bass).
