“In support of the new strategic business plan, and to focus resources and investment on key priorities to accelerate growth, adidas has decided to discontinue its table tennis business at the end of 2015.
Subsequently, adidas will terminate its license and distribution agreement with Greenmaster Industrial Corp. of Taiwan. Greenmaster has been producing and selling table tennis hardware goods including bats, rubbers, balls and other accessories, while also distributing table tennis footwear and apparel for adidas AG since 2007.
Consumers may continue to purchase adidas table tennis products from authorized retailers as long as supplies last.”
