Re: tenergy 05

Adaug 2 review-uri dedicate acestui subiect...
Review by Kolev (Publised with permission): TENERGY 64
Very first impression-QUICK, really quick and very, very dynamic. Possess broadband gears, especially in the hi-speed department bit faster than my Bryce Speed and Nimbus.
Throw - rather high
Block - excellent. Very consistent, and punchy
Close to the table counter - good, but I need more practice
Far from the table counter - just great with incredible pace
Close to the table counter loop - due to the speed I tend to throw the ball further than expected. More practice needed.
Mid/Far counter loop - marvelous, super spinny and controllable.
Loop Drive - easy and powerful. One of the best I've tried so far
Opening loop - no problems here. Way easier than the Bryce speed.
Push - the ball stays low with decent amount of spin
Flip - hmmm, I need more time
Chop - no, It isn't for choppers
Smash - very easy with a pin point precision.
As I've mentioned, the sponge is a bit softer and flexible than the 05, but it doesn't have an euro feel in it.
Still to post more impressions after the opinion of some of the best players in my club....... right David
Last night I spent quite some time serving and then playing against a long pimple player. I can say that I hardly ever came across so spiny rubber. My test was simple-I served a short chopped serve with the T64, 999EN, Aces, Bryce FX Speed. It was the spiniest of them all. With the T64 almost every ball came back to net. I was struggling to get even 3/4 of the same spin with the other rubbers. I felt that most of the job was done by the sponge of the 64, not just the top. Very consistent behavior
The guy I played against was excellent player with 25years of experience. Very difficult one. He had Feint Long(?) and Tackiness C 1.7 and he was attacking me with practically dead balls. It took me only 5min to adjust the T64 against him and to start punishing those balls. With my other rubbers I was insanely inconsistent when I had to deal with such balls. Then I asked him to go into my "nightmare mode"-chopping with the Faint Long, and guys, I've never been so proud with myself doing almost every ball with a precision never had before. AND WHAT A SPIN......all with an incredible control and feeling of security. Then I started smashing and the FUN began. I felt like the Terminator, Mad Max, Rambo......and a few more, all together....
BTW I played with 05 on a Maze and though it wasn't bad, there was no the same impact on me as the 64 in all aspects of the game. Still more to come.........
Oooh almost forgot, I suspect this rubber may have problems with the durability
