Tenergy 64

"EDIT: If it means anything, as I was writing this post I felt a small earthquake.
Thanks for the tip. That's where I bought my Tenergy 05 from, for about 44 dollars each side.
When I went there, however, all I could find was 1.9 mm.
On the German TT-News forum the Tenergy 64 is getting some rave reviews. I'll post one:
From Aeffchen:
This is in my opinion the best rubber since the end of speed glue. The catapult is in my eyes beter than the ESN tensors. I can't say whether it's faster, but simply more similar to speed glue. Thanks to the grip of the Tenergy topsheet, the rubber stands at the top in terms of spin; and the only rubber that outdoes it is the Tenergy 05 (which I played before the 64); but the difference is very minimal. The longevity of the sheet will prove itself in the future, but I can already see good things in comparison to the Coppa Platin, which was bought at the same time and is currently being used on my backhand.
The catapult is convincing and so is the feeling conveyed while looping. It is, for me, the first rubber that has enough power, even when the ball is contacted poorly. Finally you can employ crucial feeling and small adjustments, in contrast to the ESN rubbers, which play so linear. I hope you know what I mean. Loops near the table and away come with super spin and speed, and depending on how I loop, come with a super arc. In comparison the Tenergy 05 plays almost dead.
Some people have claimed there are problems creating short serves with the 64. Complete nonsense! After a week of training I can serve just as well if not better. Serve returns likewise. There are no weaknesses and also no strengths, all this talk must have resulted from the players' own weaknesses. You can really do everything with this rubber, be it aggressive pushing, droping it short, or loading up a flip. It's perfect for me. The 05 was in this respect no better. I often used to struggle to play a decent flip with the 05, and now with the 64, flips seem immediately better.
Block are easy to place and play. In other words, there's no weakness here, and more likely the 64 is better than the 05 in this area.
I'm sure you know where this is going. The rubber is for me simply unparalled. I don't mean to say that the 64 is a competitor to the 05, because it's characteristics are in my eyes simply different. Loops were consistent and also had sufficient power; I even did better with the 05 when it came to soft topspins!
For me, the 64 represents a good competitor to all those ESN rubbers out there. Before I changed my blade, and consequently switched to Tenergy, I used Sonex JP Gold and was actually super happy with it. I had always just wished it played a bit more like a speed glued rubber. More spin, real catapult (not only just fast) and above all, long lasting. Today I trained again and thought to myself that the 64 plays like an all-around improved Sonex JP.
I hope that helped someone! And before someone asks, I play in the Bezirksliga at the top--and with my new paddle I've already given trouble to a few Landesliga players, and even a Regionalliga player.
Sorry that's a bit long, but I hope you can get a sense for the rubber based off this one fairly well-written review."
